"Run Hahdah, J-Money!"

The Boston Marathon? Over.

3:23:09.

More from me later after I nap, take more than the recommended dosage of over-the-counter painkillers, and quite possibly remove my legs with the bottle opener from the mini-bar.

Thanks to everyone on the course who shouted for me, even the kids who yelled for "J-Monkey".

You Rock J-Money! Seriously awesome job!

Isn't 3:23:09 a new simian record?

DAMN IT! I was at mile 24 (corner of Comm Ave and Park Drive) with a big sign that said "J-Money 3:16" from 12:45 PM to 3 PM and was disappointed that somehow I missed you. Anyway if you're in Boston tonight and want to go out to a celebratory dinner/drinks, drop me a line - I'm pretty drunk but would def be up for some congratulations for a TOTALLY awesome job!

you are mighty and powerful and a degree of awsome only few can hope to gaze upon in a single lifetime. i'm in a world of awe of your achievement.

holy crap! that's awesome. you're awesome. i participate in a local 10K and barely see how that's possible (by participate i mean entertain guests at my house as those who are fit run by). but seriously, you did it and you didn't even need a creepy tiny xenu loving husband to push you along. go you!

vanilla: Thanks! And I'm not sure... I think Grape Ape probably broke 3:20.

laura: HOLY CRAP, THANK YOU! I did miss you--by mile 24 I was talking to myself--but a friend of mine who was also running said that she saw the sign! She also saw someone else around mile 20-21. To whomever that was, YOU EFFING ROCK TOO! Also, thanks for the dinner invite. Let me see if I'm mobile later...

kleph: That may be the nicest compliment I've ever received.

notsojenny: I actually had Suri in my Fuel Belt. That's why I had to run so hard.

Seriously, that's awesome. Way to go!

Congrats! You beat the other three people I know who ran today, so therefore you are the winner. You win a gift basket of mini muffins and mini booze.

Even without knowing you, I'm blown away that you ran the marathon in such a great time. Not to mention the fact that you are still alive afterwards.

Runners are crazy.

I tried my hand at running, and I reeeeeaallly appreciate the fact that you did this. That's awesome! There is no way under the sun that I could convince myself to run that much. Believe me, I've tried. And failed.

But seriously? Awesome, awesome job. Congrats! Hope your legs feel better soon :)

That's totally awesome. I think it would take me 3:23:09 to run to the end of my block.

How many people did you smack on mile 18 that yelled, "YOU'RE ALMOST THERE!"

Grrrr.

Anyways, I told you this in two other forums, but CONGRATS!

I just scored the room with the treadmill at the Westin... I know you are dying to run more so feel free to stop by.

In all seriousness, if you need any aspirin (which I know from experience that room service will not bring to you), let me know and if you're staying close to the finish line I'm happy to bring it to you. Seriously, I am SO impressed by your 7:45 pace, which I couldn't even sustain for a 5k. (Note that that didn't stop me from telling everyone I met today that I was going to run Boston next year.)

Did people really shout "Run hahdah"? That's awesome.

This is like the gayest thing I've ever said (and I once sang an Elliott Smith song to a chihuahua so I know from gay), but I'm really proud of you, J-Mo.

Awesome! Congratulations!

I was stuck inside all day. The marathon path comes within 10 minutes from me too.

Just for the record: You did better than Jocoby Ellsbury's girlfriend. 5:05:38
